AstroYogam processes the birth details you enter — name, date, time, and place. If sign-in is enabled, your account identity is handled by our authentication provider. If you opt in to notifications, a push subscription is stored so we can deliver them. Your language and theme preferences are kept in your browser's local storage.

Your birth details and charts are encrypted in your browser before they are sent to the server. The server stores only the encrypted form and cannot read your data.

To produce plain-language explanations, the app sends the computed chart and panchangam data to an AI service, which processes it under its own terms. This is the one place derived data leaves your device.

When sign-in is enabled, a third-party authentication provider manages your login. We receive only the account identifier needed to associate your encrypted data with you.

If you enable notifications, your browser's push subscription is stored solely to send the alerts you asked for. You can turn notifications off at any time.

AstroYogam does not show advertising, does not use third-party advertising trackers, and does not sell your data.

We use only essential cookies and browser local storage — to keep you signed in (through our authentication provider) and to remember your language and theme. Because there are no advertising or analytics cookies, the app does not show a tracking-consent banner.

Encrypted data is stored as a single record per person. There is no analytics or activity-tracking database profiling how you use the app.

You may request that your stored data be deleted. Because your data is end-to-end encrypted, losing your passphrase means it cannot be recovered.

AstroYogam is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
